[Gift Art] Hiryu

A traditional headshot sketch for of dragon character, Hiryu!!
Natsuakai did a really lovely job with my commission, so I wanted to draw something! I sort of imagine this as Hiryu smirking after torching some fools on the internet. XD I'm always impressed with how you handle troublesome people. :'D

I feel like I've really improved my coloring techniques with colored pencils during the drawing of this art. ^^ I actually went and grabbed my white-out paint for manga class and used it for the highlights, and it returned surprisingly great results! *u*

This is also my first time drawing a dragon character whose fancial anatomy is a little more akin to the Spyro-inspired dragon artist fandom. C: I'm used to drawing horse-faced dragons, wedge-faced fantasy dragons, D&D dragons, Eragon dragons, and Charizard. XD So this offered a fun opportunity to broaden my experience in different cultures of dragon anatomy!
